林檎がひとつ。 （1996 oil on canvas 22.7x15.8cm） １８歳の時に描いた小さな油絵です。 ぼくが油絵をやり始めたのは１５歳。コンテや鉛筆、水彩で紙に描くのとは 違ってどんどん描けるし、木製のパレット、鉄製のペンティングナイフ、豚 毛の硬い筆、トロトロの溶き油、サラサラの揮発性油、独特の臭いなどなど、 高尚で専門的な雰囲気にドキドキ感いっぱいだったように思います。ピカソ やゴッホ、その他名だたる巨匠たちが用いていた画材...it's Ａ・Ｂ・Ｕ・ Ｒ・Ａ・Ｅ!!! ぼくにとってそれはまさに、芸術道への入門を意味していま した。 ちなみにこの絵は、油絵始めて３年目、細筆と油絵特有の透明性に 魅了されてる頃のものです。またもや自画自賛！いいかんじでしょ？ This small painting was painted at age 18. My bigining of oil paintings was at age 15. Oil on canvas is farther from the limits than pastel,pencil,water color on paper. Besides,the refind & special atmosphere of the wooden palets,the steel knives,the strong burshes,the thick oil,the peculir smell,etc excited me. What Picasso,Gogh,and many great artists used... it's ＯＩＬ !!! It meant the entry to the world of ART for me. By the way, this painting is nice because the fine brush & the transparency come to life, isn't it? (Self-praise again! Thank you.) |
